Terms and Conditions

1. Services Provided

MessageCraft is developed and maintained by Altamira Software SRL, headquartered in Bucharest, Sector 4, Str. 11 Iunie, No. 15, Ground Floor, 030167, Romania, registered under No. J40/2823/26.02.2020, VAT No. RO42322168. These Terms govern your use of the MessageCraft platform, including features like drafting, proofreading, translation, tone/style configuration, and subscription management.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MessageCraft, you agree to comply with these Terms and any additional documents referenced (e.g. Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy). If you register on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information (first name, last name, email, company name, billing address) and maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Any activity on your account is your responsibility.

4. Subscription, Billing & Trial

— A 7‑day free trial is available; a valid payment method is required but not charged until trial ends.
— After trial, subscription fees billed monthly or annually as selected.
— You may cancel at any time; billing stops at the end of the current period, but previously incurred charges remain valid.

5. Permitted Use

You may only use the Service for lawful, internal business purposes. You agree not to:
— Reverse-engineer or disrupt the service structure
— Introduce malware, bypass controls, or engage in unauthorized access
— Use outputs to mislead others about authorship
— Use the service to produce disallowed content (hate speech, defamation, etc.)

6. Ownership and License

— Altamira Software retains all intellectual property rights to the platform.
— You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use MessageCraft for permitted purposes.
— You retain ownership of your inputs and generated outputs, provided you comply with usage policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, MessageCraft is provided “as‑is” without warranties. Altamira expressly disclaims any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances will Altamira Software SRL be liable for:
— Indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
— Amounts exceeding the total subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months (except in the case of free trial users)

9. Data Processing & Privacy Compliance

All personal data processing is conducted in accordance with the GDPR and your Privacy Policy. Details are governed by the Privacy Policy

10. Termination

— Either party may terminate these Terms for material breach with no fewer than 30 days’ written notice.
— We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately if usage poses legal or security risks.
— Upon termination, your access to the Service ends; your data will be deleted per the retention timelines stated in the Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at our discretion. Updated versions will be posted with an effective date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance. If you object to any changes, you must stop using the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of Bucharest.
